Elections and Weather

Tomorrow is Election Day and people all across the Alleghenies (and the country) will be getting out to vote.  While talking to a colleague yesterday, we started wondering if there was a trend or connection between the weather and voter turnout.

My predictions going into this:

  1. When the weather is warm, the voter turnout is higher.
  2. Rain keeps people away from the polls.
  3. Snow keeps more people away from the polls.
