This is the second part of my fall foliage post and this time, I’m talking about the different colors you might find on (and off) of the trees. Different colors actually come from different kinds of trees. Have a look at the graphic below for a list of trees and the different colors they produce. This is part 1 of a two-part blog post dealing with fall foliage. In this post, we’ll focus on what causes the color change. In the next one, we’ll see what colors you can expect to see from different types of trees. Click into this post to see why leaves change color… When I got to the station a couple of years ago, I started doing my weather trivia questions on the weekends. I asked the same question I asked tonight and was actually able to get it to work live on the air. This year, I’m asking it again (but am not going to be able to try it). Are you able to balance an egg on its end during the equinox? I hate to say it, but the weather is changing. Fall (or Autumn) officially begins tomorrow.
