This is me… I'm standing over the ocean in Ogunquit, Maine. So, the trip is over and I’m getting back to my normal routine now. It was a blast! I want to thank all of the people who went along with us on this trip to see New England, NYC, Boston, Niagara Falls, [...] View of Boston from our hotel! We have moved on from Boston and are now in Maine, but I wanted to update you on the trip so far and share some pictures. Boston is a great town and our hotel was right on the water. The view from our hotel (what you’ll see [...] The Big Apple! Here’s the first leg of our New England Tour… New York City. The hustle and bustle of this city was overwhelming for a newcomer like me on the first night, but today was great. We saw a lot of the sights then took in a taping of Who Wants To [...] Hey everyone… I’m writing this while on my way to New York City via Danville, PA. There’s a lot of rain out this way but so far, so good. I’ll be uploading pictures during my trip, so be sure to check back later! Well, I’m back from my trip and it was a lot of fun. The only wrinkle in the trip came on day 1 when we flew from Pittsburgh to Chicago. It was a bumpy ride. We hit turbulence and some people were pretty scared. It was a rare occurrence and it shouldn’t stop you [...] Well, I’m finally home from the Great California Train Adventure. Big thanks go out to Holiday Vacations and our tour directors, Phyllis, Kippy, and Kathy. They did a phenomenal job! Well, we’ve made it to California. Lake Tahoe was amazing and breathtaking. San Francisco is really cool, too. Let’s talk about the flight. It was a nightmare. We left PIT around 6:00 (about [...] So… Due to some bad weather in Chicago and between Pittsburgh and Chicago, our trip is starting off on a delay. We were supposed to take off at 2:46 PM but now we’re hearing there’s a delay until 4:00 PM. We’ll eventually make it to Chicago, but it might be a while. Once we [...] Well, my vacation is right around the corner and it’s the Great California Train Adventure! We’re taking viewers along with us, too. My trip starts on Friday and we’re heading for Chicago. We’ll stay in Chicago then head via train to Reno. From there, we’ll board a motorcoach and head to Tahoe then the [...] It’s amazing just how small of a world it is. I got down to the Outer Banks on Sunday. We get to our house and it turns out that the owners either live in or are from Cambria County. The house has a big sign that said ‘The Rummels – Yorktown, VA – Cambria [...] |
