I’m 28 now and I remember as a kid… (cue the TV fog and swooshy sound for the flashback)
I would watch the local TV station waiting for my school to scroll across the bottom of the screen telling me that I had a delay or cancellation. Then, we I got a little older, I remember we could call a phone number to see if school was delayed or canceled. I bet I dialed that number over a thousand times.
(end TV fog and make that swooshy sound to get back to present day)
Now, we can just check the internet to see if there is a delay or cancellation. Some schools even send you out a text message or e-mail. You can even get an e-mail or text message through our website.
