I like my job. Why else would I be here if I didn’t, right? Well, I just found out something pretty cool. Meteorologist was named one of the 50 best careers of 2010. Here’s what US News and World Report has to say about meteorologists… Time Magazine recently released its list of the 50 Best Inventions of 2009. Some are cool and some make you ask what the heck. There’s at least one that’s directly related to weather. Here’s a few highlights… The Smart Thermostat works with appliances in your home to tell you how much money you’re spending. [...] I had a few days to burn before the end of the year, so I figured I’d take last Friday and Saturday off. On Thursday, a friend and I made plans to go quad riding Friday afternoon. Now, I should also note that I don’t really pay much attention to the weather when I’m off. I didn’t expect the monsoon that came on Thursday night and through Friday, but we decided to go riding anyways.
