The humidity is coming, and it’s long overdue.
We’ve been spoiled this year with low humidity and good sleeping weather, but that will change next week. A big ridge of high pressure will build off the east coast pumping in some deep, tropical moisture. While it won’t be overly hot, (77 to 85) we’ll see dewpoints rising into the 60s and even 70s. That will make things very uncomfortable, and lows will only drop into the mid and upper 60s at night.
The other part of this moisture increase will be the rain. We have the potential for some heavy afternoon storms next week. That’s something that will be handled day-by-day.
