Comparing the Last 3 Spring Seasons

We all have short memories sometimes when it comes to the weather…. so let’s go back and take a look at 2009, 2010 and this year and see how they compare.

2009 Precip:

2009 was known as the “year without a summer”. And the spring was also cooler and a bit wetter than average.

Last year was about as good as it gets if you like it warm and dry!

Now here’s this year’s April and May (since June is only half-way done):

So looking at this spring…. does it surprise you that it’s been warmer than normal? And for the most part, June has been dry and warm so far…. so the spring season this year could turn out with near normal rainfall and above average temperatures!

Not a bad start to the summer season. And again, we’re expecting a summer with near-to-slightly above average temperatures and near-to-slightly above average rainfall.
